Hi, we probably need a bit more details :
- WordPress version
- Browser type and version
- Ideally plugins installed (with versions)
Just to be sure : Add New Buttons don’t appear at all when installing the plugin or have they disappeared after a specific manipulation ?
WP 3.5.1
Browser: safari 6.0.2 OSX Lion 10.8.2
Plugins (all in lasts versions):
– WPML
– Admin Quick Jump
– NextGen Gallery + Addons (custom field & image crop)
– Posts 2 Posts
– Regenerate thumbnails
– WordPress Importer
I figure it out the “Add new ” page button dissapear when I install the plugin without any other manipulation. In the plugin settings I activate both options:
– Display Mysql queries in AJAX answers
– Display lost pages in the “All pages” panel
Thanx for the help.
Good to hear – we’re storing that for further testing trying to understand what causes the bug.
as for now I cannot work with that plugin, as it is too much action to deactivate the plugin just in case you want to create a new page ;=(
I am not sure to get it. When installing the plugin, you don’t have the “Add New” buttons at the end of each row ?
I have had the same problem. You cannot add a new page for your site if this plug-in is activated. It is too much work to deactivate it every time you want to add a page.
Yes, the “Add new” button appears at the end of each row. But that button only gives you the option of adding a new page as a child page to the page of the row you are on.
I can’t figure out a way to simply add a new page that does not have a parent page.
I really want to use this plug-in though! It would be SO helpful with my site that has over 100 pages. It is very needed.
To add a new page (NOT subpage) :
- Click one of the Add New button
- By doing so, you choose where the new page will appear in the tree
- 3 possibilities :
- Add New page after and at the same level of the target page
- Add New page before and at the same level of the target page
- Add new page as a subpage of the target page
-
Those options are available as radio buttons in the Position section of the Add New side panel.
