I was trying to upload my localhost site to server and renamed the site from localhost to www2.st-john.or.jp and couldn’t create a data base on the later server. Now I can’t view or logon to my localhost site. Can somebody tell me whether it is possible to redirect the site to “localhost” instead of “www2.st-john.or.jp” again and, if so, which of the files (I am assuming that it is somewhere in the .php files) do I have to edit to achieve this? I have since signed up with Bluehost and would like to export the localhost site there is possible.

    Thanking you,
    Seiyohanekai

Don’t worry. I worked it out. Thankfully I had a Timemachine backup of both the MAMP and localhost site to fall back on. Now all is working and I will be able to export through the dashboard.
