can I safely disable?

    I have to update the style sheet on a WP install where Sheild is installed. I am unable to do so as it is blocking me.

    Can I safely turn off the plugin and keep all of the current settings, for the five minutes I will need to update the style sheet?

    Yep, this isn’t a problem.

    You could alternatively temporarily add yourself to the IP White list within the IP Manager.
