This question is more out of curiosity other than support, but I am wondering is it possible for browsers to be able to block pop ups?

I am using the pop ups to open sample videos (from YouTube). Before I used a lightbox plugin that opened the video. But now that I am using Pop Up Maker, I am hoping that most or our end users can still see the sample videos 😉

    Cheers

@streamworksaudio – No, these are technically not popups in the since that they create another window. Popup Maker popup simply overlay content on your site, thus browsers don’t block them as they are part of your sites content, no more than a slider would be blocked for not always being visible ;).

If our JS triggered a new window then yes they would be blocked.

    Hope that helps.

Yeah that is what I figured as the pop up is an element and not a new window.

    Cheers
