Call page child information

Hi

I’ve searched everywhere for this and had no luck and I’m sure it must be really simple, but can’t quite get it right… so..

I have a page set up, that has 5 subpages or children. I want to display an image and a title for each of the children on this parent page.

I have tried a combination of things, such as the get_image plugin etc, and can get this to work with posts, just not pages (I’m using posts for another section of the site you see).

Anyone know a hack to pull child meta information or titles? as at the moment I can only get a bulleted list of the subpages using an echo $children function.

Any help would be much appreciated.
