Is there any way to have a list of event for “this week” or “next week” that always starts on a specified day of the week and ends on a specified day of the week? I was able to do this in a previous version of this plugin but I can’t figure out how to do it in the latest version.

Specifically, I would like to set 4 feeds: “this week” which was Monday-Friday, “this weekend” from Sat-Sun, “next week” which equaled week’s Monday + 7 day offset through Friday, and “next weekend” which is next Sat-Sun.

Basically, what this is is to start the feed on a specific day of the week prior to (or after) today, and then the rest can be addressed, I think, through the plug-in’s current capabilities.

Currently there is not an easy way to do this. You could use the “One Week” option but that is calculated from the current day + 7 days so I don’t think that is what you need.

You could use the “Custom Date Range” options but again this is just set to a specific range, so you would have to update it each week to match the dates for what you need after that.

But for what you are looking for – a set start of the week or non-specific weekend dates – is not currently automated by the latest version of the plugin.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks!

I know this is marked as resolved but I’d like to know if there are any plans to implement this as it is something I am looking for as well.

Not sure at the moment. But I would encourage you to send your feedback for the feature request here so we can keep track of it:

Okay, thanks. I just wanted to reiterate that prior to version 2.0 this worked great. I think there was a option to define the start of the range as the beginning of the week (i.e., Sunday 12am) plus an offset (everything used to be done in hours or minutes instead of days, but whatever) instead of “Number of Days Back.” So if I wanted to display events this weekend I would simply set the start date to “Beginning of Week” + 6 days and the range would be 2 days.

Right it probably was in an older version but there have been many changes since then and we chose to keep/remove certain features when rewriting the plugin.

    You could visit this link:

That will get you to our feature request form so that we can keep track of things that everyone wants.
