• Hello

Thanks for developing such an awesome plugin!

However, I stumbled upon something weird after it’s installation.

Please have a look here: web.sddgm.ml/events As the title and the page is self explainatory, the calendar is outputted as some string of texts.
I checked the Chrome’s Developer Console but had no issues listed there.

Event archives works just fine though but the calendar.

Here’s the basic information about my configuration just in case:

  • Hi @ngrhd,

Thanks for your kind words about the plugin.

First step to debug this is to test for conflicts with other plugins or the theme. Please review this guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know about your findings.

    Best,

Alright it’s the theme itself, ‘X’.

    http://themeforest.net/item/x-the-theme/5871901

How do I know exactly what part of the theme scripts are conflicting?

    Hey @ngrhd,

I’m glad that you’ve found the source of the problem, the X theme – that’s a step in the right direction to fixing it!

We’ve seen quite a number of people using The Events Calendar with the X Theme without issue, so I’m not quite sure what’s going wrong on your site.

Your best bet is to just contact the X Theme support team and see what their thoughts are.

I’ll mark this thread “resolved” for now since we can’t address theme conflicts here, if you have other issues or questions come open a new thread any time 🙂

    Cheers,
    George
