Hi,
Do the developers check this forum? Is there a better place to reach them?
Is my question not clear enough? I can clarify if necessary.
Thanks
Same Issue for a while now, if in Calendar view I select the next month, everything just goes grey and nothing happens, if I hit reload on my browser the next month comes up.
It is like the script is not doing a refresh when you select things.
Yeah, my calendar didn’t even work on reload.
I’ve now opted for ‘The Events Calendar’ but that’s not nearly as neat as AI1EC. There are some good premium (cheap) alternatives on CodeCanyon which look promising.
I’ve been using AI1EC for a while and it was working great until the latest version stream, everything still seems to function other then selecting anything in calendar view right now.
@mindthrone,
I just looked at your site. The month title DOES change, although there is no content within the month prior to October 2013 when that month is being viewed. November and December DO display content.
The only view options your site shows is ‘List’ or ‘Month. the other options do not display, therefore they are not selectable.
To you question as to whether the Timely folks monitor this forum – the answer is NO. Go to their new community.time.ly forum, which they monitor.
Thanks for your response, dave.
I’ve changed the calendar and re-populated it so what you’re actually seeing is ‘The Events Calendar’ plugin in use. I probably should have pointed this out.
Thanks for your response though. Makes sense for me to have taken this to their ‘corporate’ forum.
Are you running the Free or the Pro version of ai1ec? If you are running the Pro version you can go http://my.time.ly/ and initiate a support ticket, which gets you to the front of the queue. My experience is that their Pro support is outstanding.
Also, how did you limit the views to Month and List only? Also, how did you place the previous and next months at the bottom of the calendar? I’d like to have that at both the bottom and top for viewers ease of use.
One final point. There is what looks to be a discrepancy between the page name and t he month being viewed. Ex: your training page opens to the current month, as it should BUT, when I change to ‘previous’ my browser tab (Firefox) shows Events for October 2013, but the URL displays as http://www.globalifrsdesk.com/calendar/2013-09/, which is September. The URL changes as the month being view changes, but the browser tab sticks on October 2013. Just thought I’d mention this.
Sorry if this is ancient history but I’ve only just come across this thread. We have a similar issue with our website but with a slight twist. The calendar works fine for me (I use Google Chrome) but the Parish Office experience the same problem as rjesse. They use IE11. However, the refresh option didn’t work for them. Their solution has been to right click on the next (or last) month and select Open. Our calendar can be located at http://www.werringtonparish.org.uk/diary/
I just looked at your parish website in Firefox and it works correctly for me.
More details on the ‘problem’ you are experiencing would be helpful.
