I’m trying to use Caldera forms to create an automated quotation. Visitors can select from several options of the product I offer and each of the options have a price. I can add a calculation field to the form that correctly shows the price. So far so good.

But what I really want, is that the user submits the form, and my auto-responder sends back an email with the price. That way I collect people’s data and I can contact them to further discuss the quote and possible get them to buy my product.

However, I can’t find a method to do that. I would want the calculation field included in the autoresponder email but not visible on the form itself.

I’ve trief leaving the calculation field away from my form and make a calculation in the autoresponder email but it seems calculations can not be made there.

Any hints / suggestions how to accomplish this?

    Many thanks, Hans

I think I found a way to do this. I assigned a custom class to the calculated field on the form, and made that class hidden in my CSS. I can still add the field to my auto-responder email. This works for me. Maybe this can be helpful to others.
