Caching Images

    I can’t for all my trying figure out how to set caching expirations for images with the W3TC plugin. All scripts are being cached appropriately but I still receive the Leverage Browser Caching message for image files when doing a Google Speed Test. I have read that wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/ini/_htaccess should be set but that file is not there. Can someone please clarify this for me.

    Are your files, image files local or on a CDN?
    Have you enabled Browser Cache on the “General” page? If not do so. After that go to Browser Cache page and make sure “set expires header” is set in “Media & other files”.
