• One of my clients reported that ticketing wasn’t working. We really should maintain a change log for the site as I was puzzled what had changed but I happened to check the FAQ and it was indeed caching:

Purpose of this post is to suggest that the wording above is made more generic as this fault occurred after we migrated from GoDaddy to Hostinger which uses LiteSpeed web server and recommends the LiteSpeed cache plugin. The migration happened months but this was the first time since then that they’d tried to sell tickets.

Interestingly, when I ask Grok whether LiteSpeed can exclude certain pages, it happens to mention WooCommerce suggesting that caching and shopping is a bit of a problem. For WooCommerce, it suggests excluding /checkout/ – is there a Url that we could exclude for MyTickets?

Kind of forgot that FAQ still existed. Most of the plugin documentation is at https://docs.joedolson.com/my-tickets/.

You’d need to exclude whatever your checkout page is for My Tickets; I can’t tell you what that is, because it’s something you can control. You’d also probably want to exclude your tickets and receipts pages.

An FAQ is still very useful especially as searching for “cache” on the documentation doesn’t return anything. Plus of course at the time, I had no idea that it was caching. Maybe add the FAQ to the bottom of Quick Start Guide – My Tickets: Documentation?
