Cache still enabled after plugin is disabled and deleted

    Greetings,

    I have been using WP Super Cache on my site for a while. I am also using WPML with two languages – norwegian and english. The norwegian version is on a .no TLD, and the english is on a .com TLD. This has been working flawlessly with Super Cache for months.

    I have recently discovered that my english site wasnt updating. So I deleted the cache. Still no update, even though I have updated several pages.

    I ended up disabling and then deleting the cache plugin, however, the cache is still active on the english site. This is from the source code on the english site:

    .. it keeps updting the timestamp after the plugin has been removed on the english site. The norwegian site is working normally w/o cache.

    Any suggestions?
