Cache status: BYPASS

    Hi there – the setup of the plugin was smooth, now I get the following error when testing the cache and also get cache BYPASS when checking the site

    I have deactivated all other plugins that could impact AFAIK and don’t know where to look next to make it work. Any help is much appreciated!

    “Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages.

    Error on dynamic page (https://rightland.co.za): Cache status: BYPASS – Cloudflare has been instructed to not cache this asset. It has been served directly from the origin.

    Error on static resource (https://rightland.co.za/wp-content/plugins/wp-cloudflare-page-cache/assets/testcache.html): Unable to find the Cache-Control response header.”

    Since there is a cookie in response, so it is showing BYPASS.

    Deactivate YITH WooCommerce Wishlist, then check again.

    Hi @gchahn,
    Your webpages are being bypassed from getting cached at Cloudflare CDN is because all of your webpages have custom cookies in it. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/G1FbRtF.png

    When Cloudflare seeing custom cookies in any page response header, it does not cache that page thinking the cookie might be in use to show the page content.

    So, you can either remove the plugins which are adding these cookies to each webpage or you can enable the “Stripe response header” option and test your website thoroughly (check every single page) to ensure all your webpages are working as expected after striping away cookies from response header.

    thanks @isaumya @thegulshankumar – I need the yith plugin so I can’t just deactivate. I have tried the “strip response header” option and the cache works. However it seems now that changes we had made on the page are undone an image mysteriously disappeared. After changing the settings back, the cache is still working and I can’t deactivate the cache in the plugin (Invalid request headers (err code: 6003 ) – any advise if the undone changes are connected to this and how to make it work?

    UPDATE: I’ve managed the 6003 error – for some reason my login details had been removed from the plugin (with the plugin & cache still being active)
