well, as per the FAQ;
* untick “also aggregate inline JS” if you have that on
* if not also untick “also aggregate inline CSS” if you have that on
* if the issue persists if those are unticked and you use Avada or Divi or ELementor (potentially other themes/ plugins too) you might also have to add wp-content/cache or wp-content/uploads to the comma-separated CSS optimization exclusion list.

No, there is no automatic cache purge because that risks breaking your site severely if a page cache would have HTML that still has references to the deleted Autoptimized files.

Problem is there are so many different types of page caches that I cannot integrate with all to clear the page cache when AO’s gets cleared.

Moreover a fast growing cache is a canary in a coal-mine, so it’s better to avoid the canary dying to begin with 😉
