Cache breaks page loading

    Report: EWCMXIDM

    Confirmed issue resolves when LiteSpeed is disabled, or when purging cache (problem reappears shortly afterwards).

    Have disabled all optimization options (these have been disabled from the beginning)

    Problem:

    Site loads fine initially. If the user navigates through the website and returns to the home page, the homepage is blank (except for the navigation bar). Intermittently this issue also happens to other pages in the website. The only way to fix this issue is for the user to refresh the page, or if I purge the cache.

    Hi again, responding here so public and may help others. Thank you for responding to my tickets, I may have located the issue and a temporary fix that may help you understand the issue in more detail.

    If I force an exclude of ajax.js, this issue appears to go away. I think this is because the website uses AJAX to slide in new pages, and this seems to be where it is breaking sometimes with the LiteSpeed plugin.

    I’m not sure how much of a performance hit this will have on the plugin by excluding this .js file, but if it’s not much then I may live with it. I’m guessing you still want to investigate from your side of things though?

    OK, the issue came back again – so perhaps this isn’t the fix after all.
