Can you post a link to a video on your site that’s having this problem?
Hello 🙂
Thanks for the answer, I finally find what the problem was. It was simple:
The video player default setting was on “video.js” I’ve changed the setting to “Strobe Media Playback” and everything is working fine!
I still have trouble to understand how to use a watermark but I’ll find the answer in this forum probably 😉
Thank you.
I don’t recommend using Strobe Media Playback because it’s a Flash video player, which is not the direction the world is moving. I only keep it around for legacy users. I’m still happy to help you fix the problem with Video.js. It uses fonts for its buttons, which is very clever but is a new enough idea that it apparently doesn’t work all the time.
To add a watermark, upload a small image and enter the URL in the Watermark Image field. White, translucent PNGs tend to look best. For example, I use http://www.kylegilman.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Camera-Noise-Logo-Transparent.png
I didn’t know that it was a problem to use strobe media playback. So if you can fix my issue with video.js it’ll be great.
I’ve manage to put a watermark 🙂
I’ve put back the video.js player so you can see how it looks.
Here’s a video for exemple, the buttons are replaced by “e001” etc.

It appears to be a security issue. Since you’re hosting the player at sakkaku.net, Firefox refuses to download the font when the video is served up from videocarvertwins.com
The error message is downloadable font: download failed (font-family: "VideoJS" style:normal weight:normal stretch:normal src index:1): bad URI or cross-site access not allowed
This article explains a potential fix: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15024333/downloadable-font-on-firefox-bad-uri-or-cross-site-access-not-allowed
Mmmm Do you think I can submit this issue to my host server? Because when we’re talking about .htaccess file modifications I’m not ready to put my hands into this lol.
But what will be the problem for me to use Strobe Media Playback concretely? some users will not be able to play the videos or something? Because of Flash?
You’ll probably be fine with Strobe Media Playback. Flash works for the majority of desktop users and on mobile devices the default controls are used. If you’re happy with it, stick with it.
