Bumping post content down

I’ve created a transparent header throughout the website. By modifying the header bottom margins to -pxs, I’ve raised all the website content to make the header overlap the content. the problem is now my posts are overlapped by the header, cutting off content.

Is there any way to fix this? whether is reformatting the header, or CSS all the posts to sit lower on the page to display all the content and options, does anyone have suggestions?
