Thanks for your question. Here is the process I follow on my system to bulk attach items to a specific parent:
- Navigate to the Media/Assistant admin screen.
- Click the “Unattached” view to filter the table display.
- Check the box to the left of each item you want to assign to a parent. You can click the box above the first item to select all of the items on the table page.
- Pull down the “Bulk Actions” control and select “Edit”.
- Click “Apply” to open the Bulk Edit Area.
- Click the “Select” button to the right of the Parent ID field (right-hand column).
- In the “Select Parent” popup window, click the radio button to the left of the specific page that should be the new parent, then click “Update” to fill in the Parent ID field.
- Click “Update” in the lower-right corner of the Bulk Edit area to apply your changes.
- When the operation is complete, click “Refresh” to see the result. The items you’ve updated should be replaced by a new set if any unattached items remain.
