Thanks for your question. I believe you are looking for MLA’s bulk edit feature on the wrong admin screen. If you are accessing the WordPress Media/Library screen you will find a Bulk actions menu with only the Delete option.
MLA provides a more versatile Media/Assistant screen located by default at the bottom of the Media submenus. If you access MLA’s Assistant screen you will find an expanded Bulk actions menu with additional options: Edit, Download, Download Original and Thumbnail. If you select the Edit action you will be on your way.
I want to make sure you understand what MLA’s Bulk Edit feature provides. It allows you to edit many of the standard fields WordPress stores in database tables, taxonomy terms and custom field values. It does not, however, allow you to modify the IPTC/EXIF/XMP metadata values that are embedded in the files associated with Media Library items. MLA allows you to extract the metadata values from the files and add them to the WordPress database, but there are no MLA features that modify the files themselves.
I hope that gets you started on a solution for your application. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have problems or further questions about the above suggestions. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
