Bulk Convert maxxed out the CPU

Hi there

We have seen the bulk convert in action, but it uses Ajax and in the background it regularly maxed out a CPU (a good one!). Is this normal? Or is there a better way to convert images to WebP, such as “on the fly”?

I coudn’t locate a Bulk button in the settings. Even after we disabled the plugin, something was still triggering it to run, until we literally deleted it.
