    Hi There,

I have installed wp-optimize on a couple of my sites. The automatically compress newly-added images works well but the bulk compress of existing images (images uploaded before the wp-optimize plugin was installed) just won’t work.

Every time I try to bulk optimize it fails and says only one image was optimized and when I check even the one image was not optimized. I have tried at different times of the day and with only a few images – thinking it might be a wp-smush issue with their server being overloaded, but still no joy. It keeps failing. I can see on the web many users complaining about the same issue.

    Any advice is gratefully received.

    Thanks

    Hi @jasonhayward!
I understand how frustrating it must be to have the bulk compression repeatedly fail, especially when you can see the feature working perfectly for new images.

Please update your plugin to the latest version (4.3.1) and try compressing again.
Let us know if that resolves the issue.

    Regards.

    Hi Damilare,

That latest update (4.3.1) seems to have fixed it. Thanks for releasing the patch.

    Regards,
