Hi,

My website has Non-amp and amp pages. I want to setup canonical url for all posts. Is this any option to setup in bulk?

And a personal question which URL should be canonical AMP or Non-Amp?

Is this any way to find my website has how many urls already set as a canonical?

Please help!

Hi @keshavgupta

By default, the Yoast SEO plugin should handle your canonical URLs 99% of the time, and there would be no need for you to make any more modifications – https://yoast.com/help/canonical-urls-in-wordpress-seo/

With regards to AMP versions of your pages, the canonical of the AMP version should point to the non-AMP version of the same page. You can refer to Google’s documentation here – https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/amp & https://amp.dev/documentation/guides-and-tutorials/learn/spec/amphtml/?referrer=ampproject.org

The good thing is that, if you use the Yoast SEO plugin, as well as the official AMP plugin, it should automatically integrate and handle the AMP versions of your pages. You can learn more about it here – https://yoast.com/setting-up-wordpress-for-amp-accelerated-mobile-pages/
