Building a software program on WP Total website.

    I’m creating a new website using WP Total Theme. I’m also just beginning to build a software program (most likely in Java Script) that will eventually go on it’s own page within the website. Does it make a difference whether the software is developed on the website page or separately and then placed on the website?

    For myself I develop within WordPress, even if it is in localhost so I have immediate and local access to all the files. This way the software is developed in the environment it will live in. No room for variations in environment or browser context, no need to sort out differences that this way I never need to know about.
