• I don’t know why is this happening, but when i set some post to be password protected, and after i open that post, first time it asks for password, but every other time when i refresh page it says “Protected”, but i can see all content, and it’s not asking again for password…

It won’t ask for a password the second time, that’s intentional, access to the private post/page is stored in a browser cookie.

Once a viewer enter a password to view the private post/page, they don’t have to enter the password again until the cookie expires in 2 weeks or they clear their browser’s cookies.

That’s kinda bad, isn’t it? If i want to access some protected post on a public computer, and there is some information, or file that only certain peoples should have access, and if after me everyone can access that post from that computer, a word “Protected” loses a point…. Is there any way i can set it to asks for password every time??

Well, could just not set/create the cookie after the username/password has been verified or make the expiration date of the cookie to be in the past.

There might be some plugin that allows better control over cookies.
