    This bug will be fixed in the upcoming version. In the meantime you can download the plugin I created in https://github.com/timersys/yoast-qef

    It fixes the issue but also adds the ability to use quick edit mode to edit Yoast seo fields.

    @damian — does the Yoast plugin update you mention include the ability to edit Yoast fields in Quick Edit mode, or is that limited to your plugin? Thanks for the info 🙂
