Bug: No Email Notifications Sent

Hi,
I’ve had some issues with a client’s website whereby Woocommerce wasn’t sending email notifications to my client and the product purchasers.
Weirdly the only way I managed to resolve the issue is to add the exact same email that was supposed to be used by default into Woocommerce>Settings>Emails>New Order in the ‘Recipient(s)’ field, only then would it send the notifications.
Just thought I’d bring this up as this started happening as soon as I updated to the latest version of WordPress and Woocommerce.
