    Hello,
Your plugin has raising php warning with WordPress version 5.5 please check and update.

PHP Notice: register_rest_route was called incorrectly. The REST API route definition for tutor/v1/courses is missing the required permission_callback argument. For REST API routes that are intended to be public, use __return_true as the permission callback. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.5.0.)

  • Hello @vandung93,

    How are you doing?

Can you please mention how can I reproduce this issue? Like which page I need to visit to see this issue?

I have WordPress 5.5 on my localhost with PHP 7.4 and my error_log file is empty. We are working on the API feature and it is not released yet!

Had the exact same problem and that affected woocommerce too!
Restored my backup with WP 5.4… Lost student’s progress for at least 2 days.

I still have that on my staging env if you want to take a look at it.

Looking around what could be the issue, I found the follg report with same error I got: https://plugintests.com/plugins/wporg/tutor/latest

    That says: WP 5.5 + Tutor 1.6.9 = headaches!

Error is there, at the bottom of the page.
    Hope that helps.

Thank you for sharing the details. I have reported the issue to the developers. I hope we will be able to fix this in the next update.
