• Hello my friends okay?
I use the plugin you the contact form 7 wordpress websites for a long time and it never occurred some bug.

Bad this time a bug is occurring, the configuration is correct look here: http://i.cubeupload.com/OsYkAk.png
I even get to get the message but the name and email of the sender only appear in the body of the email.

In the “From:” field is the code “[your-name] <[your-email]>” see the image -> http://i.cubeupload.com/OsYkAk.png

In place of the name and e-mail sender is coming and the blogname email configured at installation.

I get the email this way: http://i.cubeupload.com/SUA2c7.png see in this picture.

The detail is that with another theme plugin is ok. There is conflict of JS, I wonder what is happening.
I would be very happy for your help, have a merry christmas.

Maybe you’re just looking at the different mail template. In the mail actually received http://i.cubeupload.com/SUA2c7.png there is a line “E-mail: ***@***”, while in the mail template http://i.cubeupload.com/OsYkAk.png nothing corresponding to the line.

Ok i have exactly the same problem here… With the default template just modified.

CF catch the site author name/email as sender.
So impossible to “reply to” on a received mail…

In addition, the tag <[your email]> setup in the form return a empty place in the sent mail if placed in the “message boddy” (the right text case)

I dont use Gmail. ANd yes it does work without the <> in the boddy, but only the mail is mentiened, without “link”, but the issue “From” still remains, which is the most important.

    thanks anyway 🙂
