I just updated the plugin to version 1.11.12 and had several people say they could not log in. It turns out that if the person does not have access to the Dashboard in the menu section they can no longer log in. They get a message that says “They don’t have access to the site”. Most of our people who do not have Administration access also don’t have access to a lot of other areas and the Dashboard is one of them.

I know that as a bandaid I can go in an allow access to the Dashboard but we have this plugin on many sites and changing it would be a pain if you can easily fix it with another update.

Thank you by the way for developing this plugin. It has aways been a game changer to control access to others users.

Just found out it is worse than I thought. People cannot log into pages to edit. This is directly related to having the Post turned off. If the Post is not allowed users cannot access the pages even if pages is allowed. Is there a way to revert back to the version before this update so people can get in to their pages?

    Thanks.

My writers were not able to upload images after the update. Looks like we are going to have to disable the plugin until they get this figured out.

    Hi everyone,

Thank you for reporting this and for the detailed information.

We’ve been able to confirm that version 1.11.12 introduced an issue affecting some Adminimize configurations, including cases where users may be unable to access the site after login.

We’re currently preparing a revert and will republish the update after additional testing.

Sorry for the disruption, and thank you for your patience while we get this resolved.

    Regards,

    Hi everyone,

We’ve released version 1.11.13, which reverts the change introduced in 1.11.12. Please update to 1.11.13 and let us know if you’re still seeing any issues.

We’re continuing to work on the Patchstack-reported security issue and want to make sure the fix works reliably across different Adminimize configurations before releasing it again.

Thank you for the reports and for helping us identify the problem so quickly.

    Rahul,

I am sure many of us appreciate you getting on this so quickly. I have update several sites with the new update and test them and everything seems to be working fine now.

    Thank you again.
