Cloning a page created using Beaver Builder with custom CSS strips the backslash “\” from content: “\[fontawesome code here]”; in the custom CSS.

Just FYI. Hope you can fix in a future release.

Current workaround for anyone else experiencing this: I am using my child theme custom CSS input.

    Great plugin. Thanks.

    Hi,
I’ve just been studying compatibility issues with this and other visual editors in the last few days.
A fix is under way, but I’m collecting more info to make sure that solving the problem for one builder does not break things with others, as every one of them has its own way to store information in the DB.

I’ll keep you informed. Would you be available for a beta test, in case I needed some help?

Thanks for reporting and for your compliments!

    Hi,
version 3.1.1, out now, should improve compatibility with builders and composers. Can you tell me if it fixes your issue?
    Thanks

I have BeaverBuilder 1.9.4 and am fully up to date. I don’t know what 3.1.1 is?

The problem is still in evidence when using saved rows on new pages. The upshot is that I am having to build a distinct footer area for each page instead of being able to save the row and re-used it. Very time consuming.

Page where footer is correct: http://scs-wpbuild.com/

Page where footer is broken (see col 3 – font and bullets are wrong): http://scs-wpbuild.com/subpage/

    Hi,
with version 3.1.1 I meant the version of my plugin (I released another since then, it’s 3.1.2).

In other words, have you updated Duplicate Post to the last available version, which is version 3.1.2?
If so, does the problem still occur (you must try to clone the page after you’ve updated the plugin, it won’t fix the error on pages you’ve already cloned)?

    Hi, Lopo:

I don’t believe that it’s your plugin. I just tried rebuilding the footer from scratch using all new BB modules and the same bullet error is displaying in column 3. It’s either my CSS or something in BB. Thanks for your quick response.

    Hi,
    you’re welcome!
Feel free to write if there’s any issue with my plugin.

    Hi, Lopo:

It was Dynamik theme that was the culprit. Calling a second instance of a module caused Dynamik to rename the element – which broke the CSS. It’s all fixed now. Thanks for your help.
