Is it possible to get the docs inside the buddypress notifications?

I found this, but I can’t make any coffee of this:

I mean I have 13 groups.
It would be great if the people inside one group get notifications when an doc is added.

Is this possible? Can someone point me in the right direction?

I use this plugin for that purpose:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-group-email-subscription/

It works well, is regularly updated, and gives the users some control over what they receive.
