    Hey lovely people!

    I was just trying to install the bte-wb WordPress Backup plugin on my mom’s site. It wouldn’t install and asked me to add a .htaccess file on it. SO I go to their website, copy and paste what they tell me to put in the .htaccess file:

    <Files ~ “.*\..*”>order allow,deny
    deny from all
    </Files>

    I save it as htaccess.txt because my computer won’t allow me to save something with a . at the beginning. I uploaded the file into the btw-wb folder that is in my wp-content folder. It disappeared, and the next time I reloaded the website, all pictures and style info was gone.

    I am kind of freaking out.

    HELP!!!

    The website is at: http://massageforthemind.com/
