Brute force attack searching ip address?

    I woke up this morning to over 2,000 brute force attacks on my website according to Jetpack. I found the ip address that was attempting the attacks and blocked it but I am more curious about some of its behavior.

    Apparently it also was using my search form to look up an ip address that turned out be one for Cloudflare. Does anyone have experience with this happening to them?
