    Hi,

I’ve just moved to a different server. The website is working on new IP addresses, but on any devices that I have accessed it on before, it goes to Account Suspended. The hosting people cannot replicate the error.

    I use Hummingbird caching.

I am wondering if caching is causing this?

If so, how do I get around it?

    Thanks

  • Clear your browsing data (cache, cookies…).
It loads fine on my end.

You can also clear hummingbird cache even though it’s actually your browser cache that’s serving you an old copy of the website.

Are you on a Windows or Mac? You may have to flush DNS cache too.

    Hi @twinklepuff

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

I agree with @sukafia on this one. Make sure to clear your browser cache, cookies etc and/or try “incognito” mode. Restarting your modem/router might also be helpful if it’s caching DNS data.

If that still doesn’t help then if you’re using Windows, try this:

    – Click “Start” menu and type “Command” into the search field
    – then right click the “command prompt” in search results and “run as administrator”
    – then type in “ipconfig /flushdns” (no quotes) and hit enter

This will refresh Windows internal DNS cache on your computer. A similar procedure can be run on Mac (though I’m not sure if this are exact steps as I’m not a Mac user myself):

    – go to “Applications -> Utilities -> TErminal”
    – run this command

    sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

    Best regards,
    Adam

Nevermind, it was a DNS propagation issue, I think!
