Hi – I’m unable to access my WP dashboard and I’m getting the following error messages. Please help!
Fatal error: Class ‘slim_browscap_db’ not found in /home4/lexilewi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/browscap/browser.php on line 22
@sysedutechllc, access your web server via FTP and delete browscap-db.php in wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/browscap/. Then go to Plugins and upgrade to version 4.4.3. This should solve the problem. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Thanks for the reply Jason. What if I cannot access the site via FTP? Is there another way to connect?
I keep getting an incorrect login message.
@sysedutechllc usually you should have access to your files and folders through your provider’s cPanel interface. You should be able to delete that file from there. Or you can ask your provider to do that for you.
is there anyway you can temporarily revert the changes done on your end so I can access my site? This is crazy.
@sysedutechllc the changes have already been reverted, however Slimstat only checks for updates once a week. That’s why deleting that file is the only way to force the plugin to check for updates again.
