Broken Plugins Thread
Structured Blogging does not work, which took me a few days to figure out…
geetarista, just to be clear, that plugin broke BEFORE you upgrade to 2.0, didn’t it?
geetarista, it works perfectly on my testbed here:
EXCEPT the background images (which I wasn’t fond of in the first place) don’t appear. But the structure and functionality of the event and review posts works just fine. What problem are you having?
WeatherIcon (also working as a WP-Dash Widget)
Bad Behavior (I assume it’s working – it’s not throwing any errors….)
McMike’s Random Quote of the Day
A Different Monthly Archive Script
Referrer Bouncer (again, I’m having to assume this is working – no errors shown)
Frame Buster (again, assuming this is working, no errors shown)
Shire Reckoning 2
Ryan Boren’s Theme Switcher
Wp SpamAssassin (another one I’m assuming is working, no errors)
WP-Dash; and the following “widgets” for same:
WordPress Version Check (wasn’t working as a standalone but westi is working on it I believe)
World Time Widget
and the WeatherIcon Widget – see above
This should be a wiki, eh?
Here’s my list:
joni, can you drop me a line to cgcode at my site, let me know what isn’t working in my CG stuff? I’ll find out soon enough (I’m going to do an install tomorrow), but figured I’d get a jump on things. 😉 Thx. -d
I would recommend instead of a giant forum thread with hundreds of posts let’s get this information into a wiki for now:
That’ll make it easier for devs to identify and fix plugins that have problems.
FYI, I just verified on Joni’s testbed that CG-QuickPHP, CG-Inline (basic test), CG-Amazon (basic test, minus admin testing), and CG-FeedRead are in fact working just fine under 2.0. I’ll be setting up my own testbed in the next day or two as I’m working on a new PowerPack release anyway, will try to ensure 1.5.2 and 2.0b compatability… Feel free to leave a comment on my site if people find issues. Thx, -d.
I take it back, Subscribe to Comments plug in DOES in fact work, I was mistaken
Yes, David’s plugins seem to be functioning just fine. There was a problem with CG-Amazon for awhile (1.6alpha), but since the version change (2.0beta) all seems to be well.
Do to the sheer number of plugins, rather than posting what plugins do work I think it would be more useful, helpful, and manageable if we post what plugins DO NOT work.
I put this in the codex, but it was deleted. Live+Press doesn’t work, as it relies on user_level to determine posting access.
returns a 404 error
doesn’t work, either
