    When activating the theme it fails (not gracefully) with debug warnings and also (may be a WP 3.8 bug) breaks accented characters like ÅÄÖ in both the admin and in the front when debug=true is set. With set to false it works (with the warnings muted in browser).

    WP/PHP Debug Output: http://pastebin.com/TJ8a1zGw

    Update: Test Environment was running PHP 5.4.19.
    Testing with PHP 5.3.27 the debug messages is gone.

    However, most hosts (at least in Sweden) uses later PHP Versions than 5.3.x.

    Another update. A workaround is to set:
    error_reporting( E_ALL ^ E_STRICT );

    instead of
    define( "WP_DEBUG", true );
    in
    wp-config.php
    when developing.
