broken images new wordpress installs

installed wordpress at two different sites. In both sites the images for theme previews are broken image icons. Any image uploaded to sites are broken as well. These are add on domains.

I have several other add on domains; installed wordpress a couple of weeks ago with no problems. bluehost support non-responsive.
