• Hi, I am new here and will potentially be a 1 post wonder.

I am a C++ programmer so I can~ read code. More so when it is well written and intended to be worked on.

I have can read html, and css files. The bootstrap template I chose has several javascript files, of which only a handful are intended for third party reading. I also have close to zero practical knowledge of php.

What I am saying is I only have a minimal understand of how the template works. I had wanted to make the carousel items expand when clicked like you often see on web pages these days; I failed to figure out how after a number of hours trying. All I can manage with the template is filling in the content.

So, needless to say, trying to convert the template to a wordpress theme is a challenge. The few tutorials I’ve found I didn’t really comprehend. The ones I can comprehend make this out to be a very complicated process requiring much work on my part.

    I have two questions.
    1) Is there a conversion tool I can use for free?
    2) What is the best free tutorial on this subject?

Here is a link to the theme I decided to use.
