well, if you setup everything correctly, then it *is* working, and the error you posted is imaginary.
just ignore the imaginary error.
on the other hand, if you could explain what you actually did, and allow for the possibility that you didn’t do everything properly, then perhaps someone can help you.

Okay, Here’s what I did, I read through the codex and followed the guide. I did not put in the iframe in the footer yet as I wanted to do it manually and check.
As the instructions said, I setup an account on my webhost, set the port to 110, put in the password.
After posting an e-mail to the setup account, I navigated to /wp-mail.php in the browser. Thats when I get that error and no post turns up anyway.
and you’re using a mail account where? your host? your isp? gmail? hotmail?
the more information the better – I’ve never actually used email posting, but if you don’t tell people exactly what you’re doing then they won’t see the problem.
How would YOU answer: “everything’s fine, why isn’t it working?”

Yes, those instructions. My e-mail account is setup on the webhost that is hosting my website/blog. Its pop3 enabled, without SSL, port 110.

I tried both manuel and automatic.
manuel it says “broken link” and I think it is because of the /installdir/ that is this ?? or shut it be like this just /installdir/ or some thing else.
