Blog text issue

I’m trying to change the colour of the sample text on my front blog page to black, as, as you can see it’s white on a white background! I have tried the AI help which gives me a css code to add but nothing is working to change it so it can be seen! I have the Astra theme. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
