Blog sidebars

Hi there,

I want to add other widgets to the blog sidebar on my site http://author.rebelsnotes.com/ but I cannot figure out how I have to do it. I have worked through all the headings under ‘Appearance – Widgets’ but still cannot get it to work. Can you help?
