I checked the box for the share buttons to appear after my blog posts and it is not working.
Ok, you mean on pages like https://www.myfoundationrepairs.com/a-dry-basement-is-the-best-christmas-gift/?
Your theme seems to be coded a bit unusually. Which theme is this? Does it follow WordPress standards?
I also experienced an issue with the buttons not showing. I tried several themes including the default WordPress themes.
I get no floating buttons, no buttons after the posts. I do get a subscribe options as a widget.
I tried disabling all plugins, but manage to do a select all of the page images, and noticed that they should be there, but for some reason were not displaying properly.
I set the icons back to default set and then refreshed and they showed. I then switched back to the original set and seemed to work fine. See if that helps.
@shadowood
– Do you use the Smush plugin or another plugin with lazyload functionality?
– What’s your website url?
– Could you please open a new support thread for your issue?
@socialdude Yes, pages like that. It’s a custom theme I believe. It’s not my website, I do the blogs.
Ok, then that’s probably the issue. You can try though by placing the icons via shortcode, that should work.
Is there shortcode for the share buttons that typically go at the bottom of the blog? I only saw shortcode for my personal social icons.
You can also place the icons you selected under question 1 via shortcode with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-social-media-plus/
