See the Recent Posts Video and how you can manage this via widgets.

Thanks Emil, this does not answer my question I want the most recent post to appear at the top of the page not the bottom, any ideas?

Yes, just like in widgets video from above, drag the Recent Posts from where is is right now and move it towards the top. If you want this to appear as your #1 item, simply make it first in your widgets area. This is of course if your Recent Posts is widget and added from WordPress widgets as well. If not and if your theme is widgetized you can add it from there and it will overwrite your current sidebar/widgets settings.

I want the post to my blog to be date driven, I want the most recent posts to appear at the top of my blog, the only way i can make it do this is to click the sticky box.

Oh so not the Recent Posts as widget, sorry my bad.

Newest at the top of the page:
Actually that’s how they should be by default. I am looking at the demo from PageLines and their Blog is slightly different than yours, the above link is the gallery correct? Is this a “template” if so can you http://wordpress.pastebin.com that for me? From the view source is see that’s a full width page.
