• Hi,
I have created a blog page as per instructions but there are no options to customize or design the page itself as there is with every other page?

    Thanks

  • Hey,

You should be able to adjust the content of the blog page within the page edit screen.

Are you making your home page a blog or are you setting a static page as home in Settings> Reading?

    Thanks for the reply.

I have set up a separate Blog page and have followed the instructions given on the Kadence support site. The page is set up with the Blog template but there is no option to design the page layout the way I have been able to do with another site using the Vantage theme.
To be honest I am really struggling to comprehend the whole blog page/posts concept with Virtue. With my other site it was just very simple to create a page for blog posts to appear on and be able to design the look of the page, removing header or footer if required, adding social share and follow buttons etc.
I just cant see how to do this with the current theme?

    Thanks
    Tim

    Hey Tim,
Sorry for the struggle. You can edit your blog page in the same way you would with any of your pages. All content you add will appear above the blog archive. If you want to remove the header or footer you can do so with css (if you post a link I would be happy to help with that). If you want to add social share you would need to use a plugin. Like this- https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-social-sharing/
    Hope that’s helpful!
