Blog or website builder??

    I build websites for some friends and small businesses. NO blogging. I have a friend trying to talk me into using WP for building websites.
    That doesn’t make sense to me.
    I know there are templates out there. I use Dreamweaver to build/publish in using css.

    Where is a starting place to learn how to build WEBSITES with WP? I find resources, but they all seem to start talking about building a blog…i have my own host.
    The sites look really good, but I don’t get how we go from blogging to building websites if we don’t make a blog.

    you want to google for thing like ‘WordPress as CMS’

    that will get you on the right track, tonnes of resources out there. Wp is great for a CMS, and if you are already skilled with css, graphics, etc, you will be able to modify existing themes, or create your own fairly quickly
