blog is generating comments when I edit an article

    My wordpress site is generating comments when i edit an article, sometimes. It only does it every once in a while, but i haven’t determined if i’m doing something unique those times that is causing it. In any case it shouldn’t be doing it at all.

    The “author” of the comment that is displayed is actually the title of the blog post, and it is linkable to that post. Very strange.

    Here is an example at my site?

    Any suggestions?

    Your blog is pinging itself when you link to internal posts. This results in pingbacks appearing in the comments section – a normal WordPress behaviour. If you don’t want that you can search for a “no self ping” plugin.
