    My blog is not showing up at all. I don’t know what’s wrong. It even says I’m not a registered user! I’ve been using this blog for at least 2 years and I have never seen this problem. Can someone help me out? Thanks.

    Error establishing a database connection

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at db.sweetisu.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

    If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

    If it worked for 2 years – contact your host.

    And my reply is “ditto”, too.
    When a working website stops working and you didn’t do anything on it – go first to your host and not to the forums!

    Yeah, it looks like it could be a host thing…given the other issues I’m now seeing there.

    I just thought it was interesting that myself and someone else encounterd the same prob at the same time. That and a friend who isnt tech savvy was making a post upate on our site, so I couldnt be sure she didnt do anything.

    I panicked when my blog was down for so long. What made it worse was wordpress saying I’m not a registered user. When I entered my usual username, it prompted me for a password and proceeded to create a new account for me! (under my usual username).

    Thanks for all your replies. Fortunately it’s back up after being down for one whole day.
