Hello @sinja89
I have taken a look at the website and noticed that you are running WP Rocket. Have you made sure that you’re not affecting Blocksy’s internal files with the plugin? As far as I know, WP Rocket has a clear warning that activating some options might break functionality if configured improperly. Can you please double check that WP Rocket is excluding Blocksy’s files from its engine?
Thanks
Hello @cteduard
I’ve checked on WP Rocket settings.
Here are my findings:
CSS:
wp-content/plugins/some-plugins/(.*).css
Javacript:
/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js
/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery-migrate.min.js
/wp-content/plugins/blocksy-companion/static/bundle/sticky.js
/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/lib/backbone/backbone.marionette.min.js
/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/lib/backbone/backbone.radio.min.js
/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/common-modules.min.js
/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/lib/dialog/dialog.min.js
/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/common.min.js
/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/app-loader.min.js
/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-responsive-image-slider/assets/js/jquery.sliderPro.js
I can’t find Blocksy though , howcan I exclude it οΌ
Thanks
Hello @sinja89
Please try excluding the CSS & JS files from the wp-content/themes/blocksy folder and the JS files from wp-content/plugins/blocksy-companion. This should do it.
Let me know if this works.
Thanks
Hello @cteduard
It didn’t work , am I doing it correctly, please see link below.

Thanks.
Hello @sinja89
Unfortunately, that’s not exactly how you do it. Here’s WP Rocket’s documentation on how to exclude files — https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/977-exclude-files-from-optimize-css-delivery
Thanks
Hello @sinja89
Can you also please verify if the comments are turned on for that actual post — https://tppr.me/PXJ08 <– check this screenshot.
You might’ve probably missed that option, but it’s good to check π
Thanks
Hello @cteduard
Yeah, The allow comments is ticked. Let me try to figure out how to remove the files.
Thanks!
Hello @cteduard
I guess I’m too dumb, I can’t seem to understand a thing about the WP Rocket’s documentation, do you have any example of excluding blocky files?
@sinja89
Hmm… I would like for you to try one more step of diagnosis. Can you please completely disable WP Rocket to see if the comments section comes back?
We will see if there’s some misconfiguration going on with the plugin.
Thanks
Hello @cteduard
I’ve disabled WP Rocket, cleared cached, and reloaded the page, the comment section is still missing.
Thanks.
Hey @sinja89,
That’s really weird, everything works fine on my end.
Did you installed the Blocksy theme from the official WordPress repository?
Hello @creativethemeshq
Yeah, I did. For some reason, new posts are not affected, only old posts.
Hi @sinja89,
If you activate a default theme like TwentyTwentyOne, will the comments section appear on those old posts?
Hi @creativethemeshq
I’ve found the solution, somehow if I unticked the “Automatically close comments on posts older than 28 days” ( Settings – Discuccsions ), All my posts’ comment sections reappeared.
