    Hi,

We have a site which is being hit by a bot carrying card-testing via PayPal. Paypal is rightly blocking these but it creates many failed orders in WooCommerce. The bot comes from many different IPs so can’t be blocked that way.

Can anyone suggest any ways to block the bot?

    Thanks,

    Sal.

    Hi @sallymoos

Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. I would recommend enabling the reCAPTCHA feature on the Advanced Settings page.

The PayPal plugin now includes a v3 reCAPTCHA integration which you can configure. The reCAPTHCA verification takes place before the WooCommerce order is created so that will reduce the number of failed orders.

    Kind Regards
